We wrapped up the third quarter of the class by viewing and discussing some art of the Americas prior to the second world war.

We looked at the eight artists who made up what is called the ashcan school.

We concluded the lecture with a brief discussion about nationalism and the extremes that the Nazis took it in terms of art, in the 1930s.
